Tibetan cause and Japan

Accepting the fact that Japanese government has so far been diplomatically very meek on the Tibetan issue, Mr. Makino said that things are now starting to show up of the need to support the Tibetan cause.

Mr. Makino said that owing to various factors, the Japanese government’s attitude towards the Communist China is now shifting. “There are some important and influential leaders within the Japanese Government who now strongly feel their government should raise the issue of Tibet”.Phayul[Thursday, November 16, 2006 21:57]

It is a bit late but It is a good sign. Japan should be more involved with the cause of Tibet.
