North Korea/economy

An expert on North Korean affairs recently said, "The country's main industries are the production of narcotics and other stimulants, counterfeiting banknotes and abduction."

In the latter half of the 1990s, more than 1 million people were thought to have died of hunger in North Korea. But the country's government ordered the people "to live with a spirit to overcome hardship."Apr. 14, 2006 yomiuri
