Honda, an congressman in the US, passed through the US House of Representatives to pressure the Japanese government to apologize for the forced prostitution of Korean women during World War II
ROK Drop has a story about it.
I can not care less about what resolution the US congress would pass.
But this is hypocritical in many levels.
As RokDrop, points out, Honda turns a blind eye on Chinese prostitutes, but he condemns Japan out of the pressure from
Korean constituents.
Japanese Comfort system during WWⅡ was the same system that Korea and Japan and the US adopted for GIs. German had a worse system for prostitutes during WWⅡ. Why not condemn them?
Among these nations, Japan is the only nation that PM apologized and set up funds for them.
