Is Korea ungrateful?

Well the most popular blogger in Korea who knows Korea pretty well seems to think so.

If anything, the U.S. presence is a waste of valuable military resources that would be better based somewhere like Guam where they could respond to emergencies throughout the Asia-Pacific region rather than being tied down in an unnecessary and thankless security commitment to an ungrateful ally more than capable of shouldering the burden of its own defense.Marmot
